BIOGraphy

Cory Giordano started weightlifting at 13 while playing football at Fordham Prep. He was a four-year letter winner and served as a team captain during his senior year. After high school, Cory joined the University of Miami’s football team, where he was trained by an elite Division 1 strength staff. It is there that he found his passion for training and enhanced his knowledge in the field. His personal experience of gaining weight and strength for football and then dropping 50 lbs. after his football career drives his methodology and the way he works with his private clients. Cory is an ISSA Certified personal trainer.

Training Philosophy

Regardless of age or physical ability, Cory will develop an exercise program for your short- and long-term objectives. Whether your goal is strength, weight loss/gain, rehabilitation, total body conditioning, or flexibility, Cory has one core tenant: Intensity on Every Rep. He achieves this by controlling the eccentric motion to get the most out of every movement. Cory has worked with clients that run the gamut, from high school and college athletes to retired men and women and everyone in between. Cory knows what it takes to motivate and drive results.

According to the CDC obesity is a lead cause of High blood pressure (hypertension), High LDL cholesterol, Type 2 diabetes, Coronary heart disease, and so many more ailments. Obesity is also linked to unfavorable outcomes from COVID-19. 
Deciding to take the first step to lose weight and get in shape is a significant accomplishment, but you must have a plan in place to reach your goals. Whether you’re looking to lose those last 10 pounds or drop 100, Cory will work with you to develop a weight loss and exercise plan that helps you lose the weight and keep it off.

Hypertrophy refers to the increase in muscular size through exercising.
